Terrace with a view! The trendy and arty dining room of Les Grands Verres overflows from the cocoon onto the venue that connects the Musée d’Art Moderne to the Palais de Tokyo. A new success for the gang of la Candelaria that is treating us to a terrific place where to come for an open sky brunch on Sundays.
For sure, between the XXL columns surrounding the space, the design banquettes cut in the massive wood and the Seine, as well as the Eiffel Tower in the firing line, the situation is quite stunning.
On the programme of delights
No imposed formula, but a well put-together seasonal card: a family shaskshuka (€14), a fab fried chicken (22€), a burger twisted with lamb (€17€) and a house yogurt with puffed seeds and seasonal fruit (€8). Very special kudos for the anti-blues pancakes (fresh cream, peaches, cereals, jasmine syrup, €12 ), to be enjoyed with a cocktail or a latte. So get ready for a great Med feast.
The added plus
In a more casual mood? Go check out the nearby P’tits Verres terrace, equipped with deck chairs to lounge around salads, ice creams and frozen cocktails after the yoga course, every Sunday from 11am until noon.
