Fashion Week is in full swing in a vibrant Paris bathed in sunshine—so there’s no excuse to stay on your couch all weekend! Among the trendiest events of the moment: a buonissimo Italian feast prepared by chef Erika Blu, a drink in the most frequented bars by the passing fashion crowd, the Art Film Days at the Louvre, where paintings and other artistic disciplines echo each other, and pop-up happenings by Repetto, Longchamp, and Alohas… And for the design lovers, head to the Matter and Shape fair at the Tuileries, showcasing the most desirable studios. Time to put on your best mid-season look and hit the town!
Toasting in the Most stylish bars
Seeing and being seen during Fashion Week is an art that Parisians have mastered to perfection. And for good reason: the fashion capital is packed with hotspots where art directors, top models, stylists, and other creatives of the fashion sphere gather. If we’ve already given you a list of their favorite restaurants, this weekend, we suggest toasting in these three of the most sought-after bars.
First, there’s Maxim’s (3 rue Royale, Paris 1st), where you’ll need to show your best side—and a stunning dress—to enjoy their legendary Onassis, Streisand, or Hepburn cocktails (€19) and crispy shrimp with lemon mayo (€25) in a breathtaking Belle Époque setting. Among the regulars? Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Katy Perry, Olivier Rousteing, Jared Leto, Eva Longoria… and maybe soon, you.
More exclusive, Cravan (165 boulevard Saint-Germain, Paris 6th) radiates chic and cool across its four floors. On the first, set in a jaw-dropping green marble décor, you can sip signature potions by the brilliant Franck Audoux: Troca (wine, orange, sparkling water, €15), Royal Basilic (€22), or Birne (pear wine, poiré cordial, palo cortado, €18), accompanied by exquisite small plates (pissaladière €12, oysters €17, crab ravioli €26). Everything is gorgeous, everything is delicious, and unexpected encounters are almost guaranteed—our top pick.
Finally, new faces and trendy youngsters usually gather at Bambino (25 rue Saint-Sébastien, Paris 11th), a friendly vinyl bar in the Haut Marais. In a cozy atmosphere with a highly chill playlist, cool kids share spaghetti squash tempura with aioli and bottarga, seared scallops, and mussels marinière (three dishes for €50). But the highlight of Bambino is its stellar selection of wines (glass from €10-12) and draft cocktails (€14), with our favorite: the Dumile peach bourbon.

Treat Yourself to a Touch of Chic
As every year, our favorite brands are brimming with creativity to involve Parisians in Fashion Week celebrations through exclusive events and pop-ups.
First stop: Longchamp, which is setting up an actual vegetable garden in front of the Opéra Garnier (8 rue Scribe, Paris 9th)! The Vivez au Vert program includes potting workshops, vegetable-themed astrology readings, botanical gifts, and a green photo booth to capture the moment.
Next, head to the Marais to the Alohas store (120 rue Vieille du Temple, Paris 3rd), where we adore their shoes and new satin sneakers. Every visit comes with a token for a free latte at Cortado, our favorite coffee shop nearby (31 rue Charlot, Paris 3rd). During this Always Latte Club pop-up, you can also grab the adorable and collectible merch, featuring t-shirts and stickers.
For a coffee break with #BalletCore vibes, head to the charming Café Rose, nestled in the Repetto store in the Marais (51 rue des Francs Bourgeois, Paris 4th), open all day Saturday. Matcha, lattes, and hot chocolates will be offered by the Maison! It’s the perfect opportunity to embrace the ballerina trend by trying on the delightfully girly new collection.
Return to the Louvre
From March 5 to 9, the Louvre honors films that celebrate art. For its 18th edition of “Art Film Days”, the world’s most beautiful museum presents a selection of 20 exclusive films and live performances covering diverse themes: painting, dance, performance, fashion…
Between Fashion Week events, fashion lovers can catch two special cinema sessions exploring the vibrant connections between fashion and cinema, in conjunction with the Louvre Couture exhibition. On the schedule? A tribute to British fashion’s enfant terrible, Alexander McQueen, and a highlight reel session with commentary from the iconic fashion journalist Loïc Prigent, this Friday, March 7, from 3 PM. Learning has never been this fashionable!
On Saturday, visitors are invited to wander between masterpieces and music, as the duo Birds on a Wire performs in the Flemish and French painting collections. It’s an invitation to rediscover the artistic revolutions from Cimabue to Giotto, admire Titian’s mastery of color, and be mesmerized by the works of the great Leonardo da Vinci.
Art Film Days - 2025, from March 5 to 9, 2025, at the Musée du Louvre, 8 rue Sainte-Anne, 75001 Paris. Entry by reservation or on-site, full price: €10.

Catching Up on the New Wave of Design
It’s the must-attend event for design enthusiasts! From March 7 to 10, the avant-garde fair Matter and Shape is making a comeback for its 2nd edition at the Tuileries. An exceptional showcase for contemporary designers, it will host 50 exhibitors, among the most desirable of the moment. This event is brought to life by Matthieu Pinet (a key figure in fashion and luxury events, including the Who’s Next trade show) and features a pavilion designed by Willo Perrin (the mastermind behind Rihanna’s spectacular Super Bowl 2023 halftime show).
Our favorites: the wooden furniture by Heaps and Woods, the French craftsmanship of Chapo Création, the ultra-modern lamps from Unknown Untitled, and the funky, colorful glassware by Laguna B.
The highlight of the fair: the creative culinary studio We Are Ona is unveiling its new pop-up! Fine gourmets are invited to discover the collaboration between Luca Pronzato (founder of the studio and organizer of the most chic private dinners for Jacquemus and Chanel) and chef Imogen Kwok, already renowned for blurring the lines between sculpture and gastronomy with her appetizing geometric compositions. A unique and ephemeral culinary experience at the heart of today’s design scene. Expect €120 for a six-course lunch, and €190 for an eight-course dinner.
Matter and Shape Fair, from March 7 to 10, 2025, at the Jardin des Tuileries, entrance fee €40.

Booking Erika Blu’s Pop-Up Table
You might not know her name yet, but Italian chef Erika Blu’s dining table is already one of the must-visit spots in Marseille. Atelier Renata, voted Best Guest Table by Fooding 2024 and named after her nonna, is setting up shop until Sunday at L’Atelier Lardeur, an ultra-confidential gem near Le Bon Marché.
The concept? A dinner every evening at 8 PM, in collaboration with the cutlery brand Sabre Paris, centered around the philosophy of “mangiare bene” (eating well, for the non-Italian speakers), following the traditions of Domenica Italiana—those long, lingering Sunday meals.
In this intimate candlelit space, guests meet new people, enjoy live piano music, and, above all, indulge in Erika’s exquisite dishes. On the menu for the whole table: a parade of appetizers, two main courses, and a dessert cart celebrating the heritage of cucina povera, which elevates simple yet high-quality ingredients. Tutto bene!
Pop-up Atelier Renata at Atelier Lardeur, from February 28 to March 9, at 79 rue du Cherche-Midi, Paris 6th. €120 excluding drinks.
Treat Yourself to a Spanish-Style Evening
It’s brand new! With a prime spot on the lively Faubourg Saint-Denis street, the Spanish table Buenas has just opened its doors to bring an Iberian breeze to the 10th. Right away, you’re welcomed by a fake bullfighter with a bull’s head, then the tables are arranged in a “U” shape around a giant oven. Behind each table, a poster of a Pedro Almodóvar film and small childhood objects that recall the film’s theme (for example, in front of the poster of La Mala Educación: mini soccer balls). At the back, a madonna (a must-have!) watches over the assembly...
In this friendly setting, owner Toufik Seddik, a Spain enthusiast, offers tapas caliente: piquillos rellenos (€8), croquetas with chorizo (€8), tortilla (€9), patatas bravas (€8), cordero asado (lamb shoulder and mashed potatoes, €15), or an arroz de marisco, a kind of grilled rice with seafood and squid ink (€13). You inevitably finish with churros to dip in a spiced chocolate (€8). Top this Saturday, like every first of the month: the Buenísima night with a singer who will set the two dinner services on fire with her suave voice—an ideal excuse to book your table and set the mood around a pitcher of sangria (€23 per liter).
Buenas, 83 rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, Paris 10e. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 AM to 1 AM. Lunch menu: starter + main course + dessert = €20
Add Some Color to Your Life
Of all the fabrics, wax is our favorite! At Place du Trocadéro, the ultra-colorful exhibition celebrating wax is taking over the Musée de l’Homme. You surely know this fabric with its bright colors and hyper-original wax-printed patterns, which is popular in many African countries. Originally from Indonesia, wax traveled the world (it is mainly produced in Holland!) and has now landed in Paris for this must-see exhibition.
On the agenda: photographs, stunning dresses, and large abstract works created with this unmistakable fabric. Special mention for the photos by Seydou Keïta and Thandiwe Muriu, showcasing women in magnificent wax dresses and turbans, as well as the exhibition labels printed on wax. A true explosion of colors and patterns that continues in the museum’s boutique, where you can even buy dresses and accessories in the same style.
WAX, Musée de l’Homme, 17 place du Trocadéro et du 11 Novembre, Paris 16e. Until September 7, 2025.
Travel to the Land of the Rising Sun
This weekend is 100% Japan at Cité Fertile: the best Japanese flea market dealer in Paris, Koji Fukushima, has gathered rare objects and vintage treasures for THE big Japanese flea market of the year. Head to Pantin for the 6th edition of this unmissable event, which delights fans of Japanese culture every year. This time, he’s teaming up with illustrator Paheime to create the grand Yokocho, giving the impression of a small Japanese village with artisan stalls and a host of activities. The lineup: an XXL braderie (flea market) perfect for stocking up on gifts, plus a food court overflowing with stalls serving Japanese specialties, including onigiris to die for.
What to grab on-site: kimono, traditional tableware, pottery and ceramics, vintage sake bottles in stoneware, tea accessories, kakejiku (silk or paper paintings/calligraphy), retro magazines, and traditional pastries!

Relive Saturday Night Fever for real
Guilty: we admit rewatching Mamma Mia every summer for its iconic music and costumes. But to dive into the disco universe of half a century ago, you have to run (in platform boots!) to the Cité de la Musique. The exhibition Disco, I’m coming out! plunges us into the bath! Because disco is not just a musical genre: it's a whole world of fashion and social claims, as the 70s were the decade of the fight for women's rights and racial and sexual minorities. Today, the impact of this festive and political music is more relevant than ever, and flared pants are back in fashion.
On a 100% disco playlist, in the middle of spaces that look like neon-lit dancefloors with disco balls, we admire cult objects from the seventies, ranging from typical outfits to music recording equipment, as well as decorative elements, photographs, and artworks loaned among others by the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. Enough to feel like a Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen!
Disco, I’m coming out, Cité de la Musique, 221 avenue Jean Jaurès, Paris 19e. Until August 17, 2025.

Devour the best tacos in Paris
It’s brand new! Near the Champs-Élysées, Tio has just blossomed, a superb Mexican address, taken over at lunch by the whole business team of the district coming to grab their burritos to go. But with its pretty decor worthy of a pocket-sized Tulum, Tio is also (mainly?) reserved in the evening to kick things off directly with travel-inspired cocktails, exclusively based on tequila and mezcal. Margarita Picante, Mexican Mule, or Picante Mango Margarita (€14) play the opening act, accompanied by nachos with beef stew (€10), tequenos with melting cheese (€10), or a fragrant ceviche, while waiting for the stars of the evening…
Check out these little taco bombs! They come in sets of three (€18): Al Suadero with lamb confit, Vegetariano with mushrooms and avocado cream, Al Pastor with marinated pork belly, Arrachera with grilled beef, Tinga de Pollo with chicken and chipotle sauce, or even the Special Tio filled with prawn tempura and ultra-food porn mayonnaise. The hardest part is choosing… We finish with a curiosity: an Arroz con leche, a coconut rice pudding with seasonal fruits and cinnamon (€5.50). So many delights to savor in a tiny gem where life is good.
For groups of friends: the comfortable rounded back room is dedicated to you for toasting in complete privacy.
Tio, 1 rue Saint-Philippe-du-Roule, Paris 8e. Open for lunch on weekdays and in the evening from Tuesday to Saturday until 11 PM.
Examine the USA through street photography
“Capture the spirit of the American people” through photographs of strangers in the street, that’s what photographers Louis Faurer, Jill Freedman, Dave Heath, Danny Lyon, Joseph Sterling, and Garry Winogrand tried to do in the 1950s to 1970s. La Galerie Rouge is currently organizing the collective exhibition American Street Photography, which showcases their moving black-and-white snapshots of post-war America, but also of activism and disenchantment.
Through an observational—or on the contrary, confrontational—approach, the artists celebrate spontaneity by taking candid shots, creating a real sense of authenticity. The street then becomes the stage of American society and its contradictions, and we, the spectators of its history. Poignant!
American Street Photography at Galerie Rouge, 3 rue du Pont Louis-Philippe, Paris 4e, from January 23 to March 15, 2025. Free entry.

Admire the Olympic equestrian in real life
Glued to our screens or euphoric in the stands along the Seine, we were all speechless when the equestrian rode onto the water during the Olympic Games opening ceremony in Paris. In gleaming silver armor, with her stunning cape made from the Olympic flag, the mystical figure—reminiscent of Joan of Arc charging the English—rode up the Seine under the spotlight.
The rider’s identity remained secret, but not her armor. The sublime creation will be on display starting February 8 at Palais Galliera, within its exhibition La Mode en Mouvement #3. This exhibit (featuring other creations from Hermès, Balenciaga, and Chanel) questions how sports inspire fashion and how the fashion sphere has infiltrated the sports world. Ready-to-wear designer Jeanne Friot and leather craftsman Robert Mercier conceived this iconic piece, undoubtedly the exhibition’s highlight at Palais Galliera.
La Mode en Mouvement #3, Palais Galliera, 10 avenue Pierre 1er de Serbie, Paris 16th. From February 8 to October 12, 2025.

Once a month on Fridays (the grand premiere will take place this January 31!), the two accomplices prepare an exceptional four-hands dinner right before your eyes, lasting approximately 2h30 (€150 per guest). While Martin presents his dishes, Roberto, stationed at the other end of the table, creates signature cocktails paired to enhance the flavors of the meal.
On the menu of this wildly chic and delightful six-course meal: a spectacular beef tartare, a white pearl oyster with passion fruit lemon granita, and scallops with hazelnut condiment, among other delicious and colorful surprises we’ll keep secret for now. The fun part: Roberto shares his best Parisian addresses for finding the rare spirits he uses in his concoctions. Their infectious camaraderie puts the whole table in an incredibly joyful mood, making the evening feel like an intimate gourmet dinner at home. This is an experience to share with your favorite food-loving crew.
