When we start shivering here over there it’s still balmy. So just fly off to La Valette then get to Gozo, one of the charming islands where you can stay in a wonderful typical farmhouse. The nine rooms all have different decors (starting at 140 € breakfast included). One of the most recent ones Marilyn, is all white with on the wall a picture of… Guess who ? And a big transparent closet seperating the two rooms of the Suite ( 220 € breakfast included). Special kudos for the breakfast where everything is home made, from the Muesli to the Panacotta, including cakes and viennoiseries. They even have a massage room with a choice between two masseurs, a man and a woman.
On order, Giuseppe and Patricia can prepare dinner with local products or recommend nice addresses. For 80€, le Thirtyseven will pick you up by car at the Malte airport with chauffeur. In less than 2 hours you will have arrived.
To justicy this Maltese escapade, know that seasons are very milkd in Gozo, with its hills, prehistoric sites, Victoria citadella, baroque churches and coves that will be a nice change from chilly Northern . This is where the nymph Calypso bewitched Ulysses during seven years in an eponymous grotto… Some legends are an art of living !
