For all those bored by macaroons, we have found for you the new gourmet address a skip and a hop from Notre Dame.
Scene of the crime ? It’s taking place at Chez Odette! Frédéric has pulled out the name and the sweet recipes out of his grandmother to make his signature cream puff. A well-kept family secret that should satisfy your sweet tooth.
The setting? A small boudoir with a vintage allure where it’s fun to come have a nice warm tea served with little pastry puffs while enjoying the view on the Cathedral.
Step back to the 20’s with delights presented under serving bells or on special displays, a black and white checked tiling, caring service … in short, the Belle Epoque set up in Saint-Germain-des-Près.
Our little sin? The praline puff for which we might just sell our soul to the devil. A real delight.
