You are seeing double? Quite normal. This new address located a skip and a hop from Place de la Républiqueis the work of the twin brothers Michel and Nicolas. One was a boutique manager for Celio, the other one started out at Fleux, until the idea of a joint project around French creation dawned on therm. The Twins adventure begins here.
A hub of French creators
These are two boys with complementary universes, Michel is a fashion trendy, Nicolas is more oriented towards decoration— they have put their common passions at the service of young French creation in a space with a loft allure, with furniture customized just for them by the design studio VoisinGuillemin.
Their purpose? Offering established labels next to emerging or confidential brands, in order to encourage visitors to discover new talents.
On the programme: the spotlight pieces of the new collection Grace & Mila and La Petite Française, Edgard Paris embroidered t-shirts (€45), mismatched Caval sneakers (€150), Louvreuse bags, Herbivore Made in Paris candles (€26), Image Republic posters with the acerbic punchlines of Loïc Prigent to display on the wall.
What else? M. Moustache socks, the arty tablets of Chocolat des Français, Niwa terrarium (€35), wood pots created with 3D printing by Minimum Design (€33 ) and a rainbow of dried flowers to compose your own bouquet.
A Franco-Portuguese coffee-shop
And as a cute wink to their Portuguese origin, the two brothers have set up at the heart of the boutique a counter baptized Paris-Lisbon. Great to come nibble on the irresistible pasteis de nata from the Don Antonia pastry shop with a special Terres de Café coffee.
Animations galore
DIY workshop, vernissages, encounters— many animations are in the works. The boys even told us about a roller skate evening in the works … To be followed!
