Curvaceous, generous, good looking and fluffy, the reputation of Tripletta Belleville pizzas is well-known.
The big boss of Neapolitan pizzas does it again with an opening in the bustling neighbourhood of La Gaîté Montparnasse in a decor that willingly flirts with the tropicool glam’ trend between lush plants and mirrored walls, tempered by a tiled floor and formica chairs for the recycling spirit.
Same player plays again
No question of changing a winning (secret) recipe. For this new address, nestled in a discreet dead-end street of the 14th arrondissement, the Tripletta team installed a brand-new giant oven, capable of cooking pizzas in less than one minute flat.
And just like her older brother, the dough is prepared ahead of time in order to allow it to mature quietly.
The result is a score of propositions amongst which a delicious Bufala D.O.P. (tomato sauce, basil, mozzarella di bufala, €16), a special Tartuffo (cream of truffle, speck, mozzarella, (€18) and the Tripletta, best-seller of the house, spicy saucisson from Calabria with green pimento (€16).
The high? Their mix of antipasti: burratina with cream of truffle (€12), mortadelle (€6) and focaccia (€4), to be enjoyed with a nice cocktail (€10).
And always more if affinity
The Delizia, a decadent sweet pizza with Nutella and hazelnuts (€10), without forgetting the impeccable tiramisu, a sure value that always works (€7).
