After having put Vanessa Paradis in a cage for Chanel, Jean-Paul Goude amused himself at making up Laetitia Casta as a man for the Galeries Lafayette department store. A small sample of mythical ad campaigns created by this prolific artist filled with fantasy.
His wild advertizing commissions are the object of a big exhibition at the Théâtre de la Photographie et de l’Image in Nice starting on 14 February. So head down South, to return though more than 200 photographs to the off-beat stories told by this iconoclast creator. From the turbulent imps of Kodak to Inès de la Fressange playing the accordion, including of course Grace Jones manipulated, scalped and dismounted in every way on glossy paper.
Tops: Jean-Paul Goude will be present in person on 15 February at 2h30pm. An occasion for a selfie with this photo maestro!
