Even more trendy that the Cannes film festival and definitely more accessible, the fashion film festival is a real winner.
The ultra glam’ event, initiated by fashion editor Diane Pernet, puts into competition ultra slick clips from one to seven minutes. The 8th edition will be taking place from Wednesday the 2nd to Sunday the 6 th of December at the Pompidou Center and is open to all, so rush over there.
On the program, the projection of 80 shorts or ads by figureheads of the fashionspere, (Ellen von Unwerth, Ali Mahdavi) ; in the running, a fascinating documentary by Loïc Prigent on Jean Paul Gaultier, who is presiding the jury this year ; films not in the competition by FKA Twigs (the girlfriend of Rob Pattinson) and JR, as well as other videos put together for deluxe brands.
