The Erwin Blumenfeld show, a photography maestro

Lexpo Derwin Blumenfeld Un Maestro De La Photo 1

Erwin Blumenfeld, is the Helmut Newton of the 50s. This well-known fashion photographer, contributor at the time of the Condé Nast Publications, is also part of advertizing shot precursors.

Jeu de Paume pays homage to this artist, influenced by the dada and surrealist movements, with woman as main theme.

The show features photos, but also drawings, montages and collages, most of which have never been shown.

We like: the very slick shots resulting from avant-garde photographic experimentations.

Erwin Blumenfeld, until 26 January 2014

Tuesday from 11am to 9pm and Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm. Closed on Monday.
