You know the Café de la Jatte, this marvelous institution that is similar to an Italian country house in Neuilly... Chef Giovanni has just opened a small trattoria next door, absolutely divine, for a lunch, even on Sunday! Imagine a delicious green terrace that makes you feel as though you were in Rome, ideal to nibble some top notch products at very cool prices : a nice salad (9€), a chic tomato mozza (9€), an oven-baked eggplant with Parmiggiana (12€), foccaccias (9€), a plate of cheese, a panacotta with nuts (6,50€) to die of pleasure… and fabulous ice creams (6,50€).
In the window place : olive oils, vinegars, dry and fresh pastas, canned foods, cheese, antipasti, charcuterie, wines... Yummy : small finds all discovered by Giovanni Perrone.
The must? The trattoria is open every day from 11am to 8:30pm. A must on the l’Ile de la Jatte, a tad deserted.
