Halfway between the Cannes Film Festival and Fashion Week, there is the fashion film festival, that is to say shorts that set forth pieces by leading couturiers.
The eccentric fashion journalist Diane Pernet has even made this discipline into art with ASVOFF (for A Shaded View On Fashion Film). This super festival is back until Sunday at Beaubourg.
Amongst the presented shorts, we have Bruce Weber and Ellen Von Unwerth, maestros of the topic, but also talented young artists. Films accessible to all, to be discovered in back rooms nestled at level -1 of the museum
We also like: conferences and documentaries in the sidelines of the festival such as the carte blanche given to Christophe Lemaire and the focus on Serge Lutens.
Tops : films outside of the competition are presented for free.
ASVOFF until Sunday 13 October, Centre Pompidou Niveau – 1
Petite Salle free entrance (very small capacity), Ciné 2 rate 6 €
