It is the most confidential 5 star in the Vendôme district , nestled in a discreet street close to the Tuileries . In addition to its resolutely Instagrammable rooms and its crazy Codage spa with swimming pool , the Roch Hotel & Spa offers romantic Parisians a restaurant popular with celebrities in incognito mode. All in a cozy setting decorated by Sarah Poniatowski herself . We tested for you…
An ultra-deco atmosphere
Blue armchairs and tables , play on textures with velvets that warm up the wood of the floor , XXL rugs to create cozy spaces, benches, marble and rounded lines: you immediately recognize the touch of Maison Sarah Lavoine . Particularly inspired by pop culture , the star decorator admitted to us recently in an interview that she was inspired by a paving seen in Game of Thrones to create that of the Roch Hotel & Spa . From the outset, we find ourselves immersed in an atmosphere conducive to confidence, as ideal for a romantic dinner as a professional lunch (starter - main course - dessert menu €41).
Beautiful colorful dishes
To honor this highly photogenic setting, the delicious traditional dishes conceived by Chef Frédérick Lyard (formerly at Pré Catelan, Costes, Plaza Athénée) highlight comforting flavors: gratiné onion soup with Beaufort cheese (€14), veggie vol-au-vent with Jerusalem artichokes (€18), beef Bourguignon in a casserole (€28), Parmesan risotto with sautéed oyster mushrooms (€26), golden scallops, braised fennel, and shellfish jus (€36), not to mention daily specials that can be combined into a menu, such as celery remoulade with wasabi mayo or seared red tuna.
For desserts, indulge in the chef pastry chef's ultra-graphic creations, including an addictive Caribbean 66% cocoa chocolate soufflé with tonka bean ice cream, to be ordered at the beginning of the meal (€14). Please note: due to the seasonal nature of the ingredients, the menu changes very regularly. So, you'll have to come back!
Open for lunch Monday to Friday, dinner Tuesday to Saturday.
