Preparation:
Boil the potatoes for about 15 minutes, until they are tender. Drain them and cut them into smaller pieces.
Thoroughly mix the potatoes with the spices .
In a frying pan over medium heat, brown the onion with 1 tablespoon of butter .
Add the potatoes to the pan and stir well.
Form two patties with the mixture and flatten them using a spatula.
Cook over low / medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes until the underside is golden.
Remove from the heat, add the remaining butter to the pan and turn the patties over.
Cook over low / medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes. Off the heat, add the hot sauce and serve.
