14th of July alert! Here is the coolest foodie picnic to celebrate the national French holiday...
The promise? Settling on the divine terraces of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, to partake in the yummy picnic signed star chef Jean Louis Nomicos with the super installation of Daniel Buren (the buzzing event!) It does not get much better for a snobby chill?
In the picnic basket: nice veggies to dip into a divine tapenade, a delicious salad of tomatoes and mozzarella, a brioche chicken sandwich with Caesar salad, violet crisps, a feta and herb treat. Top it off with a lemon/ginger cake and creamy /wild fruit mascarpone.
Careful: obligatory arty Instagram pit-stop amongst the multicolored works of Buren, who “colored” in 12 very POP nuances the amazing building of Frank Gehry.
We like: tanning, reading and gossiping on the terrace with a wonderful view on all of Paris before going to see the work on the Chinese artists at the Fondation Louis Vuitton.
