The “Marie Antoinette style” tea salon signed Ducasse

Marie Antoinette Ducasse

If you liked the Marie-Antoinette of Sofia Coppola and spent your teen years in front of Angélique, Marquise des Anges, this royal tea salon is made for you.

Ore, the new address of Alain Ducasse at the heart of the château de Versailles with acesss through the cour des Princes courtyard is a sweet invitation to slip into your Pompadour evening slippers. On the menu: a stunning view overlooking the château and princess treats such as pasta with ham, deluxe comté and black truffles (20€), a royal croque-monsieur (16€), an Ore salad shrimp – citrus fruit (18€), coddled eggs with green asparagus (16€), without forgetting a lemon tart, religieuses or the red fruit vacherin

For fans of afternoon teas: the Reine Marie tea formula will be right up their alley with sandwiches, mignardises, cake, madeleine or financier (35€).

We adore: the “LE GRAND LEVER” brunch formula (40€) which includes a visitor ticket with direct access to the Château (so no queue…). An ultimate delectation around fresh juices, a warm drink, viennoiseries and a small ficelle bread to be enhanced with butter, jam, spread. And let’s not forget organic eggs, sunny side up or scrambled,  sausages and tomato… To be enjoyed happily before a digestive stroll of the château.
