Noglu: the gluten-free paradise is expanding

Asiatiques

No need to present Noglu, the first restaurant to have converted Parisiennes to gluten free with its healthy but sexy little dishes. Well, the passage des Panoramas flagship is expanding.

After a very noticed opening in New York, entrepreneurial Frédérique Jules is back in Paris with two new addresses to be tested in keeping with your whims.

To start off the day with a boosting breakfast, rush to this wonderful 7th arrondissement tea salon. Starting at 8:30am, this powdery pink bubble rose designed by the very talented Mathieu Lehanneur and that delivers a stunning açaï bowl; granola; porridge with dried berries to the local twigs. Less light, but still organic and free of wheat flours: brioches, scones, croissants, pains aux raisins with freshly squeezed juices.

For lunch, go for the Noglu hits: salads, quiche burger and veggie lasagnes, carrot cake and vegan. cakes

The recent  sophisticated Comptoir du Marais openly flirts with the « gourmet » label. Demonstrating that you can create marvels without gluten, virtuoso chef Tsuyoshi Miyazaki (ex second at Passage 53) showcases a real tasting menu in the evening and refined plates at lunch.

Also check out Noglu take-away, across from the original restaurant.

Noglu Grenelle, Open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 7pm. On Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
