Boudoir des Muses
The Vibe: Tucked away on a quiet street in the Marais, this sultry new hotel greets you with a towering atrium that hints at its past life—yes, it once housed a… brothel! It’s the go-to spot for bold girl-power parties, intimate bar dates, or for booking one of two bathrooms with a high erotic factor, and of course, a love-filled night away from prying eyes. Its big draw? An edgy art direction that creates an immersive theater experience where the "show" unfolds on each floor with a view onto the central stage below.
Rooms: Surrounding the central atrium, five floors house 28 rooms ranging from 13 to 25 m² and four suites (38 m²). Inside, there’s no glitz or bling—just a soothing décor inviting relaxation. Expect plush pink, green, and yellow velvet cushions, gilded, heart-shaped wall pieces above the bed, and portraits of remarkable women. A shared design feature, exposed beams add a touch of mystical charm by transforming into wooden columns throughout the space.
The Extra: A killer programming lineup dedicated to all things girl power. Unsurprisingly, Boudoir des Muses (or BDM to insiders) belongs to the same hotel group as the Chouchou Hôtel, famous for its cool events year-round that draw Parisians. Here, look forward to parties hosted by Maudamour of Madame Arthur every Wednesday and Thursday, or women’s circle-style talks on love, sexuality, or entrepreneurship. On that note: all November, Cercle by Do It members get a complimentary cocktail when booking a workshop like Erotic Readings with Flore Cherry x TBC, Crystal Readings with Sentara (November 3), or a Live Model Drawing Workshop with Déborah Calfond (November 11). Follow the guide over here…

Le Grand Hôtel Cayré
The Vibe: On upscale Boulevard Raspail, this seven-story Art Deco gem was inaugurated in 1920 by Auguste Cayré, an Aveyron native who turned his eponymous hotel into an intellectual hotspot on the Left Bank. This historic spot was occupied by the Nazis during WWII, and later home for 15 years to the Franco-German novelist Annette Kolb (namesake of the hotel’s current restaurant). Now, under the wing of new hotel group Miiro, this iconic building is reborn. Every inch is a delight for the eye, from historic relics on display to the celestial mural by Mathias Kiss. Special mention: a "Refresh Room" where guests can shower or change before check-in or after check-out. Genius!
Rooms: With 123 rooms and two suites on the top floor, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré aims to make each room feel like a chic Parisian apartment, tastefully decorated with velvet accents, lovely fabric light fixtures, cozy rugs, and striped headboards—an idea worth replicating at home. Special mention goes to the Le Labo products in the bathrooms with their intoxicating scent that lingers. Absolute favorite: the suite with a terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower, and another suite fully designed by Gilbert Kahn, where every piece of furniture is up for sale!
The Extra: Led by Bruno Brangea, former executive chef at Alain Ducasse, Annette serves up classic French brasserie dishes in a charming setting (top tables: round ones with banquettes). Highlights from that evening’s menu: organic egg en meurette with lardons and onions (€19), autumn vegetables in cocotte with lovage-infused jus (€24), tender braised beef cheek with carrots and onions (€26), hand-cut beef tartare (€24), prime rib steak with peppercorn sauce and shoestring fries (€36)… and the irresistibly creamy macaroni with Paris ham, comté, and black truffle (€24)!

Une Autre Chambre
The Vibe: Nestled on quiet Rue Bailly in the heart of the Marais, this four-star hotel is a peaceful retreat from the city buzz. Styled like a bourgeois home, Une Autre Chambre welcomes guests into two plush lounges that feel like an elegant private residence: large wooden bookcases filled with curios, fringed armchairs set on blond parquet floors, coffee table books, and magazines. This cozy setting, where hot drinks, alcohol, and cocktails are served, also offers chess boards and cards for lingering relaxation.
Rooms: Just 17 rooms! Formerly 25, the new owners opted for fewer, more spacious rooms—rare for the Marais. Spanning six floors and paying homage to iconic women (from Colette to Simone Veil to Olympe de Gouges), the refined décor leans toward classic elegance, with floral wallpaper and graphic carpets. Rooms come in three categories: Comfort, Superior, and Deluxe, offering spaces of 15 to 33 m². The best? The Exclusive George Sand suite on the 6th floor with panoramic views over Paris rooftops. We love the Clarins bathroom products. Small downside: no bathtubs.
The Extra: Excellent breakfast served from 7 am to noon (perfect for late risers!). Prefer a cozy night in with room service? Une Autre Chambre offers a range of light homemade cold dishes: burrata salad (€18), charcuterie and cheese plate (€22), fresh fruit salad (€8).
Une Autre Chambre, 3 rue Bailly, Paris 3rd. 01 48 04 77 76. Rooms from €290.

Hôtel Dalila
The Vibe: Top glow-up award goes to Hôtel Dalila. Located between the Saint-Ouen Flea Market and Jules Joffrin in the 18th arrondissement, this hidden gem has completely reimagined its look with a vibrant retro-chic 70s aesthetic. Architect Giovanna de Bosredon, founder of Auguri Studio, blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. Dalila is the ideal hub for travelers looking for a warm stay or coworking spot in a minimalist yet vibrant space that feels unmistakably Parisian. The design features nods to Paris such as bench-style seating reminiscent of public parks, a zinc bar reminiscent of a classic Parisian bistro, and a lush glass roof resembling a Parisian canopy.
Rooms: Channeling Parisian character, the 49 rooms across seven floors continue the common area aesthetic with warm tones, rich materials, and carefully chosen furniture. Special mention to the headboards in cross-woven fabric by Maison Thevenon and metal bedside tables inspired by garden furniture. Best view? The top room (705, our fave) with a stunning view over Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur.
The Extra: With the 18th arrondissement’s eclectic and authentic charm, there’s never a dull moment here. While Dalila lacks an on-site restaurant, the Jules Joffrin neighborhood offers plenty of great options, from the new L’Arpaon, a quick trip to Naples at Il Brigante, or our favorite wine bar Le Comptoir de Crème.
Dalila, 51 rue Letort, Paris 18th. 01 42 57 20 00. Rooms from €130. Breakfast €15. Coworking possible from 1 pm to 7 pm.

Hôtel Hana
The DNA: A new 5-star gem by Chapitre Six (Monsieur George, Monsieur Aristide), the poetic Hana sits between Opéra and Bourse, offering tranquility with discreet luxury and graceful charm. Designed by renowned architect Laura Gonzalez and fashion art director Olivier Leone, the hotel presents a delightful journey into a dreamlike Japan with Belle Époque influences. Cozy in every corner, Hôtel Hana emphasizes care, a pillar of Japanese culture, featuring a hidden swimming pool in the basement and a custom ritual menu offering reiki, kobido, reflexology-drainage, and even an Olympic special treatment: "Olympic Spirit" combining a deep tissue massage and a guided music meditation (€120).
The Rooms: Soft and harmonious, the 26 rooms, including a suite and an apartment, are beautifully designed with a feng shui aura by expert Hélène Weber. Featuring iroko wood, straw coverings, and plush carpets, they instantly evoke relaxation. Tailor-made refinement with soft tones, silky materials, and delicately floral prints, plus palace-comfort bedding and bathrooms adorned with two-tone marble and Diptyque toiletries. A small notebook in the room encourages guests: "Be disturbing, call us! Reception". We love it.
Extra Perk: The Hanabi restaurant and its gem of a bar, perfect for a pre- or post-dinner drink, serving signature cocktails (€21-24). The stylish fusion of French-Japanese cuisine by Shirley Garrier of The Social Food includes dishes like wagyu cecina chiffonade (€29), camembert tempura with yuzu jam (€18), black sesame gomatofu (€15), wagyu steak with sansho pepper sauce (€54), and a sparkling sake cheesecake with sesame oil (€14).

Hôtel Château d’Eau
The DNA: Lacquered walls, leopard prints, colorful carpets, and panther statues greet guests in this 80s-themed aesthetic. The latest 4-star from Touriste group (Bienvenue, Beauregard, Les Deux Gares…) offers unbeatable value. Located in the lively 10th arrondissement on its namesake street, nestled between two Afro hair salons, this cool spot adds even more personality to the vibrant setting. Studio Necchi Architecture has crafted a stylishly vintage atmosphere.
The Rooms: Extending the film set decor, the 35 well-designed rooms feature top-notch bedding (we love the fluffy pillows) and carpets in ochre, green, or orange. Imagine yourself doing an XL blowout while listening to Whitney Houston or Michael Jackson hits. Retro touches like rotary phones, checkerboard bathroom tiles, and lacquered TV trays complete the nostalgic vibe. Our favorite key? Room 506, one of the most spacious and affordably priced.
Extra Perk: While the hotel lacks a restaurant, explore the eco-friendly dining at Les Résistants down the street, serving lovingly prepared dishes with green vibes (16 rue du Château d’Eau, Paris 10e. Dishes €19-29).

Hôtel Florida Paris
The DNA: This brand-new 4-star hotel opened in March in the serene Madeleine district, spanning 7 floors of a Haussmann building once frequented by famed American writers like Fitzgerald and Hemingway. Decor inspired by this legacy, crafted by Liautard and the Queen, features tropical and geometric patterns, floral wallpapers, and bold colors. We love the cozy carpeted lounge with a fireplace and jukebox extending the lobby, plus the boutique offering the divine Florida candle by Lola James Harper, the hotel’s olfactory signature.
The Rooms: Classic, superior, deluxe, and suites, totaling 39, showcase elegant aesthetics with soft volumes, cocooning fabrics, and a beautiful blend of styles and eras with curated objects and detailed touches. We adore the chic minibar in the rooms and suites, offering a wide range of drinks and DIY cocktail options. The XL bathrooms, clad in marble, with both shower and tub, are perfect for relaxation.
Extra Perk: The Nepita restaurant has become a hotspot since the hotel’s opening. Featuring a charming room with velvet banquettes and chairs, it extends to a delightful terrace for summer dining. Chef Amandine Chaignot’s Mediterranean cuisine highlights include artichoke with pistachio emulsion (€16), reimagined Niçoise salad with grilled octopus (€18), divine langoustine tagliolini (€38), and house-made ice creams (€12).

Hôtel Astra Opéra
The DNA: After three years of renovation, the Hôtel Astra Opéra (Groupe Astotel) has been transformed. Located near the Palais Garnier and department stores, the hotel was redesigned by architect Philippe Maidenberg, blending old-world charm with modern interiors. Each space pays tribute to four stars: prima ballerina Marie-Agnès Gillot, actor Daniel Auteuil, astronaut and politician Claudie Haigneré, and the Bouglione circus family. The grand salon, illuminated by a glass roof, invites conviviality with large tables and cozy alcoves for breakfast or snacks available throughout the day.
The Rooms: Far from the kitsch of themed hotels, subtle references to these personalities enrich each of the 73 rooms and suites in this 4-star establishment. Movie fans will appreciate the Daniel Auteuil floor with spotlights and film posters, while classical dance lovers will enjoy the Marie-Agnès Gillot rooms with ballet bar mirrors, pointe shoes, and pink accents. For something unique, opt for Bouglione rooms with swing chairs and red velvet walls, a nod to the circus world. Pro tip: Ask for an upper-floor room for a view of the Eiffel Tower. Practical features include ample storage in both the bedroom and bathroom.
Extra Perk: The hotel's wellness area in the basement, perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring Paris. Enjoy the hammam, sauna, high-tech gym equipment, and the heated swimming pool, open until 10 pm, with sun loungers for relaxation.
Hôtel Astra Opéra, 29 rue de Caumartin, Paris 9e. 01 42 65 15 15. Rooms from €750. Online booking or email reservation.astra@astotel.com.

Domaine Reine Margot Paris Issy - MGallery
Overview : Things are buzzing in Issy-les-Moulineaux. Just five minutes from the metro, the MGallery's luxury expertise was needed to transform this 17th-century building, previously inhabited by Queen Margot herself (where she sought refuge from the Parisian frenzy and the plague) for nine years, and later by priests for 300 years, into a peaceful haven just a stone's throw from Paris. The estate offers a vast, classified garden with a vegetable garden, orchard, and greenhouse for private events. A brand-new building with refined decor by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, and a bistronomic restaurant under the old house's glass roof, offers delightful queen's bites. It's like experiencing a countryside getaway with just a Navigo card.
