Pink flamingos scattered everywhere and palm trees galore? Temperatures are on the rise at Bon Marché.
Quite normal since the department store is welcoming The Webster in residence, that is to say the most hype, glam’ and trendy concept-store of Miami founded by the very « Frenchie » Laure Hériard Dubreuil.
The two partners have challenged iconic houses (Chanel, Dior, Chloé…) and trendy designers (Yazbukey, Maison Kitsuné, Le Léon) to showcase one of their spotlight pieces all in white.
On our wish list: the Snow White evening pouch by Olympia Le Tan (1240€). More affordable, Kure Bazaar nail polishes, Le Léon cartoon sweatshirt (130€), the tote-bag (20€) and the big flamingo pen (3,50€). I’m in Miami B**** !
Fab, get a taste of Florida at the Grande Epicerie with a flamingo cake (6,50€), cupcakes (5,50€) and other yummy treats.
We like: a cute throwback to house linen “white sales” initiated by 1873 par Aristide Boucicaut, the clever entrepreneur and avant-garde founder of Bon Marché, who tried to spark post-holiday sales.
The Webstser at Le Bon Marché, until 21 January 2015.
