Meert, a divine waffle house in Saint-Germain

A wild teatime snack! We already applauded the arrival of the cult Lille waffle in the Marais area of Paris, the favorite treat of Général de Gaulle (yes, yes you have read correctly!) that has now landed on the Left Bank.

In this new boutique right off rue Mazarine, one now finds the small signature cake, a flat waffle stuffed with vanilla from Madagascar, but also more recent creations: spéculos cookies, pistachio/cherry, rum/raisin and praline/blown rice, yummy!

We also like: chocolates, caramels, fruit jellies and everything that has made the reputation of this mythical candy since its creation in 1761.

Count about 15 € for a pack of 6 waffles

Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday: 10h30am – 7pm. On Sunday: 11h30am – 7pm
