Act III for the green dream team! The chef Mehdi Favri and his two sidekicks, Julia Chican and Marine Ricklin, shine in the spectacular with this new Maslow planted opposite the Carreau du Temple in the Marais. Labeled “biggest vegetarian restaurant in Paris,” this sexy spot, all dressed in red, definitely raises veggie food to the top of today’s most desirable cuisines. You’re not ready!
Seeing red and loving it!
Madness of a grandiose space with Eiffel structure beautified by Juliette Rubel, the favorite architect of the Maslow family, who made the walls of Maslow Temple pop with fiery red. Three levels, 140 seats inside, 60 seats on the terrace: the new Maslow grows in size without straying from its eco-responsible convictions. On the program: three floors and as many atmospheres. The ground floor grabs the codes of the Parisian brasserie by placing burgundy banquettes, a majestic bar, and mirrors galore. On the side, a space like an American diner, ideal for moments of four. On the second floor, a more relaxed mood: we sit on high chairs around the monumental marble counter that runs all along the gallery and offers a full view of the space. Final level closest to the glass roof: the speakeasy Graal Bar plays the intimacy card while keeping the peppy aesthetic with its walls covered in shiny red curtains. And outside, the terrace, best option at lunchtime.
The plant-based revolution
Julia, Marine, and Mehdi, the founding trio of Maslow Group (Maslow, Fellows), assert their virtuous power with this new location that pushes even further the commitment dial: 100% French products sourced less than 200 km from Paris, carbon footprint divided by 4, compost for waste… And signs its creativity with a menu full of new items and even more striking recipes.
A 0% meat feast
The talent of chef Mehdi Favri takes flight at Maslow Temple and offers capital-letter pleasure without the slightest trace of meat or fish. We already loved the first two locations, we’re placing our napkin ring at this one (lucky for us: Maslow Temple is two steps from our office!). The mood? For sharing, the menu revisits everything we love in life with strong inspiration from bistro cuisine, street food, and Asian flavors. We won’t be able to live without the big potato fritters shaped like churros that dip all hot into a crazy creamy sauce (€8), nor the Kimchi Fritters like accras with their silky wild garlic vegan mayo (€8). Sparkles in the eyes for the dip & crunch artichoke that arrives whole at the table (€13) and for the Pithiviers, a naughty puff pastry pie capturing a filling of shiitake and Paris mushrooms (€13). Same joy with the truffle polenta and green asparagus (€11) and the ewe’s cheese, honey and spices (€10).
On the sweet side, the Paris-Beyrouth choux flavored with sesame cream, praline and orange blossom are a hit (€9). Heading straight to addiction zone, the Une Feuille, crispy filo pastry filled with smoked vanilla cream and black lemon caramel, is killer (€9). And for thirst, well-made cocktails with or without alcohol (€12 and €8).
Open every day from 12 p.m. to midnight.
