If the imminent arrival of Santa is not enough to make you smile during this perturbed holiday period, the Ma Cave Fleury champagne bar has concocted a cool 100% good vibes programme, impulsed by Morgane Fleury, the sparkling hostess with the mostest.
Musical happy hours in a bubbling bar
Every Sunday in December from 4pm to 8pm, the family-run champagne house, celebrating its 30 years of biodynamic production, is organizing festive happy hour-concerts in its Parisian HQ on Rue Saint-Denis. Jazz, French song, the billing changes each week for live sessions at 5:30pm. Pschitt, organic bubbles will be flowing.
Morgane even hooked up with Thalassa Tradition, a family of oyster farmers in Normandy, producing natural oysters out at sea in Blainville-sur-Mer, to offer a terrific combo: a shot of champagne and an oyster for just €5. Anti-blues remedy ensured.
You want more? Count €12 for 6 bivalves to slurp down and €39 for a bottle of Blanc de Noirs Fleury. This should give you real motivation while waiting for the Holiday evening revelries.
