Lily Wood, the affordable cantina near the Champs Elysées

The restaurant of the Hotel Beauchamps near the Champs Elysees

“Meet me for lunch? I am working near the Champs Elysées”  Two options: either you fall into an ambush that will cost you a wad, or you suggest to your friend trying Lily Wood, a brand new address recommended by Do it in Paris.

€19,90 for the lunch formula starter/ dish or dish/dessert in the most upscale area of Paris for a healthy and very savoury meal, what could be better?

The restaurant of Hôtel Beauchamps is the breath of fresh air we were expecting, far from bling tables and tourist traps. A contemporary bistro with a refined yet not stuffy setting (duck blue velvet banquettes, vegetal wallpaper, design suspensions), one immediately feels at ease.

Roasted Sweet Potato Dish, Feta, Avocado, Pomegranate, Honey, Yuzu Salmon Tartar, Lily Wood Restaurant Orange

On the plates, one enjoys the culinary talent of Fanny Corre, initially at the origin of Persil&Mimosa, known for a seasonal cuisine and a strong vegetal toch, imposes her style: eggs mimosa;  pearled barley salad, roasted sweet potatoes, feta, avocado, pomegranate, hone ; coconut cake. Not in the formula, but frankly reasonable: tartare of salmon with yuzu (€12), tataki of duck breast (€18), chicken thigh glazed with aromatics (€18) pavlova (€6).

We like: the happy hour after work with great nibbles: saumon delights (€9), houmous (€8)), burrata salad (€12).

Tops, the brunch is on it’s way. To be followed.

Open every day from noon to 11pm. Brunch will soon be an option.
