Until now, we knew her thanks to her comic strips and her pour (Persepolis and Poulet aux Prunes), on we discover today that Marjane Satrapi is also a talented painter.
Her paintings are presented for the first time at the Jerôme de Noirmont gallery. There is a strong sense of melancholia in the gazes of these lonely women as a duo or in groups like a family portrait. The score of canvases shown here offer an array or bright colors oscillating between Orient and Occident.
