Its the fashion news of the season, the Galliera Museum (the Paris fashion institution) is finally opening its doors with an amazing exhibition dedicated to Azzedine Alaïa, the designer who glamourizes women, Noami Campbell as first fan !
It’s in the entirely renovated salons that is presented the retrospective dedicated to the work of this talented couturier, known for his perfect mastering of cuts and materials. A tapered waist that underlines an ultra feminine silhouette, such is the signature of the one considered as a fashion architect. 70 iconic pieces retrace his amazing career.
The plus: the exhibition continues in the Salle Matisse of the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, next door (free access).
