Here is “the” ideal play for Parisiennes in the know. A very good reason for going back to the theater and laughing about everything at Point Virgule with “Les Coquettes”, who had already taken the Olympia by storm when they presented the first part of humorist Bérengère Krief’s show.
On stage: “a hot blonde, a funny plump gal and a hostile brunette”, as per their own descriptions.
On the menu: the capacity of women who are ready to go all the way out for a pair of Louboutin, hilarious sketches and songs. In short: all our quirks and neurosis are closely looked at with a glam’ and punchy musical background, but never vulgar, in the Andrews Sisters 2015 version.
We adore: the one who bitterly regrets the era when sex was “casual” and not a performance race of suppleness: “Give me back my missionary” !
Les Coquettes, until the 31st of December at Grand Point Virgule, representations at 6pm or 8pm. Reservations here.
