No need to take a sabbatical to go around the world. In a very Phileas Fogg spirit, the new book published by Louis Vuitton takes us in the footsteps of the great globe-trotters at the beginning of the 20th century. A tour of the luxury in the Great North Nord (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway) to the new world monde (USA, Canada) including Paris, the city of lights, without leaving your sofa.
To illustrate the journey, 1 000 hotel labels, stemming from the impressive collection of the famous trunk maker’s grandson. His labels were used as advertizing support by the most prestigious hotels who stuck them on the trunks of clients.
We like : the anecdotes told by globe-trotter Francisca Matteoli.
