The comeback of Fauré le Page, from war arms to seduction arms

After Carven and Courrèges, the Fauré le Page House, founded in 1717, is the new sleeping beauty to awaken after a few years of deep sleep. Recently installed on rue Cambon, the former harquebusier and gunsmith for Louis XV and Bonaparte, that abandoned arms production to « equip» fashionistas with it-bags and « canon range » accessories.

In this boutique as chic as it is original, like a cabinet of curiosities, bags and evening pouches mingle with se armors, coats of mail and arms coffers, vestiges of  an era when there were  many duels.

The new collection is a reminder of the House story. We could not resist the lambskin pouch « small caliber » (620 €) inspired by the shape of pistols to be worn like an evening bag, the « gun » pouch (185 €) to slip into a bag and the totes in waxed canvas with scale motifs that come in brown, blue, grey and yellow (550 €).

We also like : the Ipad case (180 €), the personalisable bag with handles (1 150 €) and utmost in luxury, the hunting seat (690 €) to be used as a stool in the living room.

Open every day from 10am to 7pm
