When it comes to enjoying the weekend, what could be more divine than sitting at the counter of a well-known establishment, reading the papers, dipping your tartine in a creamy café... In short: the best way to start the day on a Sunday is to have a marvellous breakfast.
In the French breakfast category with amazing café-croissant, we have found the golden spot for you! This little lair of paradise is taking place at Lazare, the hot new Parisian digs of Eric Fréchon (3 star chef at the Bristol) we already talked about.
Just the kind of traditional breakfast we enjoy… They have a top notch menu: fresh baguette and homemade viennoiseries (3,50€ for a pain au chocolat, a butter croissant or freshly baked bread), and Bordier butter that come with amazing jams. Not to mention Betjeman & Barton teas, the hot chocolate and latte macchiato to die for (6€) and fresh juices.
Our heart throb: the 9€ formula with warm drink + fresh juice + tartine or viennoiserie.
We love: the place open 7/7 from 7am to 1am, even on Sundays and holidays.
