You were snubbed by the Cannes festival? Fashion week came and went in a flash? But this time, we promise, you will be part of the show. For its 10 year anniversary, the fashion film festival, A Shaded View On Fashion Film (ASVOFF) opens its doors for free. So,will you come?
Initiated by fashion editor Diane Pernet, this must-go rendezvous gathers each year the fashion heavies around a super trendy selection of videos, spots and ad clips produced by the leading names in the business. In the competition this year? Ellen von Unwerth, Bruce Weber, Ali Mahdavi and other top photography players that the jury, presided by Rossy de Palma, will be in charge of rewarding.
From Friday the 12th to Sunday the 14th of October, this 100% fashion program will be displayed on the giant screen of the Club de l’Etoile. And of course you are most welcome.
Other strong moments of the week-end: the masterclass animated by producer Patrice Haddad, one of the first to have called on the talents of Mario Testino et Spike Lee to sign brand campaigns. And the projection of three films by John Malkovitch for Bella Freud.
