It’s “the” contemporary art gallery everyone is talking about, expertly run by Anne Sarah Benichou, a 30-year-old Parisienne, who, aside from her talent and incredible work stamina, has what one calls real artistic flair.
To wit: the very respected curator Ami Barak (Les Nuits Blanches, that’s him) signed his first exhibition that created a buzz!
Nestled on rue Chapon, this small space attracts lots of seasoned buyers, who come for the arty events, during Anne Sarah displays up and coming artistic values such as artists Florin Stefan, Julien Discrit or Massinissa Selmani.
The must-see exhibition of the moment “Le parti pris des nuages” by the brilliant Marion Baruch. The artist is currently showing an installation of fabric samples in which clothing elements are cut. Discards from the industrial and urban society, these scraps are given to her in whole bags coming from haute-couture and ready-to-wear textile factories around Milan .
We adore: the feeling of being in a mini Palais de Tokyo. Anti-snob, Anne Sarah presents her exhibitions as in a museum, explains the works, juggles between artist exhibitions and collective venues while exploring all the different media: video, installations, without forgetting to renew with more classic styles such as figurative painting. Everything we love!
