In “ star” mode at Thoumieux

Viennoiseries tasty brunch

Sylvestre Wahid, is the buzzing chef, this year, with his sensational arrival at the Thoumieux ovens to replace Piège and an immediate attribution of two stars by Michelin. In other words: a success!

What is less well known is that this multi-faceted chef concocts a terrific brunch for all the gourmet twigs at the heart of the mythical rue Saint Dominique brasserie. A great way to test the cuisine of a great chef at an affordable price...

On the program: juice, old fashioned hot chocolate, buffet of sweets directly imported from the “Gâteau Thoumieux” pastry shop. On the table: yogurts, croissant, brioche, pain au chocolat, apple puffs, bread and butter by Jean Yves Bordier. For salty buffs: in-house smoked salmon, ham on the bone, sliced raw ham, chicken whites.

Just choose your couture egg: omelet, coddled, poached or soft boiled with a choice of bacon, sausage, mushroom, fine herbs. Our advice? Try he Bénédictine poached egg option / golden bread with creamy spinach and truffle infusion.

We like: the “à la carte” alternative with blue lobster (38€) or the big burger (28€).

Brunch 55€ every Sunday from noon to 3pm.
