La Folie Douce is launching its first hotel

You adored gyrating on the dancefloor of its open sky restaurants, located on the ski slopes of Val d’Isère or Méribel, wearing your ski boots and hanging out with your gang of buddies, sound full-blast and a pool of rosé in your mitten… This news will appeal to you: La Folie Douce is opening its first hotel!

A festive winter resort hotel

Pioneer of partying on the slopes, the only thing lacking was a hotel so that La Folie Douce could finalize its unique ski-in ski-out concept! It has been achieved by its owner, Luc Reversade, the very first one to have shifted the spirit of Miami and Ibiza beaches to altitude restaurants.

In the continuation of its fun and ski concept, La Folie Douce has majestically settled at the foot of the slopes in Chamonix, facing the pristine Mont Blanc. The building is a pure marvel: Le Savoy, a former 19th century palace, with a very Grand Budapest Hotel style and the promise to rekindle the Gatsby years… That’s all we are telling you!

Party, party, party

No Folie Douce without major partying “during the day”—that‘s their DNA. From 5pm to 10pm: it’s all about fun, dancing around a large central bar that serves a wide array of bottles and cocktails… At the heart of its superb cabaret, the staff is part of the show…

A series of top restaurants

A table that focuses on raclette, tartiflette, fondue and pizza cooked over a wood fire

Here one finds the great classics of the house, starting with La Petite Cuisine. This time, no self-service, but more an “open kitchen” version with large communal tables in order to enjoy a super friendly style and affordable prices or the Kiosque, for outstanding outdoors street food.

The mythical Fruitière continues to distillate its unique feeling and its “bistronomic“ plates: sirloin tip from Metzger, taglioniwith truffle and stracciatella, lollipop Reblochon…

Their novelty: the Mayen, a table just as we love them, that concentrates on raclette, tartiflette and fondue. In short, all the ultra-Savoyard cheese specialties in a furiously chalet decor. For all those who crave pizza, cooked in a wood-burning oven, the Italian restaurant Piazza does the job with panache.

The stylish dormitory spirit
