Zoom on the Right Bank Seine embankments, freshly liberated of all cars (now you say: Parc Rives de Seine), featuring a brand new waterfront terrace. Located between Pont Neuf and Pont des Arts, this trendy neo-guinguette, is the work of a small collective of foodies, spearheaded by Déborah Pham, founder of the highly respected magazine Mint. In other words, the hot spot for sun-filled lunches and chill happy hours in good company around some great eats.
On the table: vintage plates cleverly put together by chef Adriana Seghetta (ex Aux Deux Amis) with a great lunch formula (19€) that varies according to her mood of the day: leeks vinaigrette, low temperature egg; lamb stew and house gnocchis; French toast with Chantilly and caramel sauce. In the evening, nibble on sea snail bulots with a great mayo (8€); a remarkable house terrine with pickles (9€); beef meat balls and lima beans (12€) and a cheesecake twisted with citrus fruit (7€). In terms of wine, the name of the game here is ethical with an exclusively natural wine list (count 6-7€ per glass).
Its heart asset: a cool, chill and bucolic atmosphere—in short, just the kind of place we love, doubled up with a view worthy of a post card with the Seine and Ile de la Cité in front of your eyes.
To be noted: the anti-hangover brunch on Saturday: house granola, soft boiled eggs, tartines, orange cake...
