This is the newcomer in the super trendy block of Carreau du Temple, this new cantina is creating the buzz. Quite normal, amongst all the new crêperies mushrooming everywhere, Gigi stands out!
Here buckwheat pancakes (hence no gluten) are amazing, refined, soft yet crispy. Special kudos to the Comté cheese, truffle and shitaké galette (12€). For dessert, try their no gluten special. Or the caramel salty butter, honey, butter essentials. (6€)
Tops: the plate of 6 really delicate mouthfuls (12€) such as organic shrimp avocado + andouille de Guéméné + smoked duck breast, pear and Fourme cheese. Sweet version: butter yuzu sugar + pear choco-chantilly + chantilly rose petals.
We adore: the romantic candle-lit atmosphere a far cry from certain, loin dismal crêperies once night falls.
