This is the event that electrifies the cocktail world. On July 11, the French final of the Sustainable Cocktail Challenge will be held to elect the most eco-responsible mixologist in the country. An initiative created by the Flor de Caña rum house , as a logical follow-up to its commitments and coming just in time for Zero Waste Month , its anti-waste movement that aims to promote a waste-free month of July.
In order to obtain the title of most responsible bartender in the world, the candidates will have to show a wild imagination to each create an original cocktail made using sustainable techniques from seasonal and local ingredients from fair trade or derived from reused food waste. Challenge accepted!

To judge the cocktails in the running: four personalities from the alcohol world including Hyacinthe Lescoet (co-founder of the Cambridge Public House Paris - 100 Worldwide Best bars), Sébastien Foulard (editor-in-chief of Alambic Magazine ) and António Oliveira (Customer Marketing France and Brand Ambassadors' Manager of Flor de Caña )
