The gang from Expérimental and Beef Club are back in the running with a new Fish Club, more sexy than ever, with a cozy and graphic decor designed Dorothée Meilichzon, official interior decorator of all the team’s restaurants.
At the helm of this cool venue filed with iodine: a star seafaring pro, Julien Burlat (ex Piège, Ducasse) who is the new sensation in Antwerp with his brilliant cuisine.
Here, he has imagined a series of yummy dishes with a Belgian touch: Flemish shrimp croquettes (12€), house waffle (11€) small fish fry with sauce tartare (8€).
On the program: a terrific fish soup (12€) or smoked eel (17€). For big eaters: féra (an excellent fish from Lac Léman) with curry (26€), almond trout (21€) or lobster à la plancha (29€).
To be tested absolutely: top tier seafood—very “name-dropping” such as N°4 Boulan special, from Cap Ferret, of course. They also serve the Fish Bowl: small grey shrimp, large bulots and small bigornaux sea snails (11€) and crab with mayo (18€) with a seaweed salad and shrimp chips.
We like: their highly desirable wine list and of course cocktails d’auteur (12€), in keeping with their specialty so be ready for a taste of the sea!
Opens at 7:30pm from Tuesday to Saturday.
