Sustainable Creations
Before captivating fashionistas worldwide and opening flagship stores in major capitals, Katia Barros and Marcelo Bastos' creations were found in Rio de Janeiro's markets. Born in the favelas, this Brazilian brand quickly became a summer essential. Ultra-colorful pieces with nature-inspired prints (fruits, flowers, and tropical animals), adorned with beads, fringes, embroidery, and mother-of-pearl buttons, define the brand. Committed to sustainability, the brand uses materials like organic cotton and promises to plant a tree for every purchase. Farm Rio also built factories in the favelas to provide jobs to the local population.
A Journey to Brazil
Each boutique is unique, offering a different universe. In Paris, you step into a true jungle: pieces hang on golden hangers, displayed on branch-shaped racks that guide you through the boutique. After requesting your size, you wait in the spacious fitting rooms, admiring the hand-painted mural with gold leaf details.
Farm Rio's goal? To make women feel beautiful in creations that give customers a certain "Borogodó" (je ne sais quoi!).
