A nice story: the brand’s designer was at the origin a young messenger boy, working for the leading jewellery stores in Cannes. On the lookout to purchase a gift for his mother, he realized that jewellery was mostly reserved for a rich elite—so he decided to launch his own affordable line.

Smukke Concept Store
The concept: translation of beautiful in Danish, Smukke enhances know-how in the wide sense and production in small series. Independent fashion labels, artists, artisans, this 2.0 concept-store is like a hotbed of budding talents. A unique vision stimulated by its founder Elodia Grasser, formerly a gallery owner, artists’ agent and translator.
What do they have? A wide array of t-shirts in organic cotton with his and hers embroidered pockets, signed La Posh (€47), pretty Stanka Mila earrings in golden brass assembled by hand (€74.50), the porcelain cups of ceramist Priscilla Ermer for Lou Ceramic (€32) and the sulfurous Marie Jeanne candle with absinthe and hemp (40 €).
