We all secretly dreamed of having an Italian mamma who whips up delicious meals. The restaurant « Come a casa » (just like home) allows you to take a round-trip to Italy, in order to sit down to a good dinner.
This cantina of regulars features good simple Italian eats, generous and filled with sun in a very cool recycled setting. From the burrata to the plate of charcuteries (15€), including lasagna of the day (16€), or pasta, always fresh, everything is ultra delicious. The menu changes daily, but don’t panic: the tiramisu (8€), a real treat, is a permanent fixture.
We like: The mismatched dishes just like at home, happy hour plates to share, and the Roman accent of Flavia Federici, owner of the place.
The must: coming home with products directly imported from the Boot, sold on the small shelf of the restaurant’s fine grocery corner.
Open every day for lunch and dinner, closed on Monday and Sunday.
