Spotted: Pippa Middlelton pattering along the Parisian pavement wearing Chatelles slippers. The buzz had a bombshell positive effect for this brand new label specialized in trendy upscale slippers. No two ways about it—we also want a pair of our own.
Great news: the brand now has opened its first Klein blue boutique on rue du Bac. The paint is still wet, they are missing a few pieces of furniture, but the essential is there. A unique model of slippers carefully hand-made in impeccable Italian leathers.
While the shape is imposed, with a deep cut-out to make legs look longer, there is a wide array of choice in terms of materials, motifs and colors (velvet, fabrics, stripes, grained effect). That’s not all … You can even add pendants (be ready to wait for two days), the combinations are endless.
We were not able to resist their animal prints (zebra, panther), the vitamin colors and the cat-head version with Swarovski crystal eyes and an adjustable tail.
