Needless to say that without us, you could never have found this place. Very well hidden in an upscale building of Saint-Germain, the access to this enchanted courtyard requires going through… a hair dressing salon.
It’s the ultimate spot to come nibble on Med delights signed Da Rosa, the cult grocery store.
Under the shade of an old chestnut tree, we nibble on an ultra chic picnic: plates of Spanish charcuteries (18€); focaccia à la cecina in a nice plump bun filled with olive oil (5€) ; a couture salade niçoise (sucrine lettuce, piquillos, anchovies, tuna, egg, olives, potatoes, onions, chives, 10,50€) and a divine lemonade perfumed with coffee and tarragon (3€).
If you have a sweet tooth, there are also many options. Taste their pastel de nata, a Portuguese pudding (3€), the lemon cake (3€) or the red fruit panna cotta (4,50€).
We like: the wildly Victorian style of the brick façades surrounding the place.
Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6:30pm.
