Time for Some "Useless (Useful) Knowledge": On average, we spend 27 years of our lives in bed and take no fewer than 30,000 showers! It’s clear that selecting high-quality bath towels and bed linens is crucial for enhancing these daily rituals. Attention, linen enthusiasts: La Serviette Paris has just opened a new boutique in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, offering a prime opportunity to transform your bedroom and bathroom with top-tier pieces at attractive prices.
High-End Craftsmanship
Founded in 2016 by friends Benjamin and Simon, La Serviette Paris was born from a desire to make luxury linens accessible, focusing on quality and chic design. Initially, the duo concentrated on beach towels, crafted in the prestigious Hermès workshops, where they honed the luxurious craftsmanship and expertise in towel-making. Their designs stand out, featuring motifs ranging from tigers, mosquitoes, and alligators to stripes and squares, which quickly became best-sellers.
In 2020, the duo expanded their offerings to include bed linens, featuring duvet covers (€80), pillowcases (€50), and fitted sheets (€35) made from Egyptian cotton percale or linen, along with a bath linen range including body towels (€45), hair towels (€25), face and hand towels (€20), and ultra-comfortable bathrobes (€130).
Their signature detail? A charming colored piping that adds a special touch to each piece, available in a stunning array of colors. They take it a step further by offering personalized embroidery with letters or symbols in the color of your choice (€10 to €15).
The New Decor HQ
This boutique feels like a cozy haven! Step inside and you’ll find yourself in an Art Deco carpeted cocoon, where you can explore the brand's latest collaborations with Eric Bompard, Casa Lopez, and even some remnants of their partnership with the restaurant Loulou, including toiletry bags, beach ponchos, and sponge totes.
Scattered throughout the space are thoughtful nods to the brand’s heritage, such as a framed piece of the Arc de Triomphe symbolizing the founders’ love for fine materials, a Calder Alexander poster depicting pyramids as a tribute to Egyptian cotton, and a vintage mini clock from the Lutetia, the only luxury hotel on the Left Bank, located just steps away.
Open from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
