Champion Opens Its First Store in Paris

We loved snuggling up in Champion's cozy sweatshirts and soft joggers, the cult American love brand from the 1990s, even though it was founded in 1919. Gen Z has eagerly embraced the brand over the past few years, flooding schoolyards and TikTok accounts of their favorite influencers. As a result, a Parisian store has just opened on the chic Rue Saint-Honoré! Champion Index & Archives has everything to win us over, offering special archive collections inspired by the old collections that made Champion's history.

An Original Concept

A stone's throw from the Louvre, tucked between two historic buildings, lies a small shop with a gray facade and golden lettering. Fans of the Ivy League and American preppy aesthetics are swooning. The logos, labels, and design of the clothing travel back in time, reviving the aesthetics of old Champion collections: the art of wearing new clothes with a vintage look!

Here, you'll find exclusive collections like True to Archives, which meticulously reproduces archived models of the brand. In the end, we trace the 100-year history of the house with the reissue of iconic models, such as the Archive Reverse Weave hoodie that debuted in 1958 and is reinvented here with a more boxy and oversized fit while retaining the 50s logo. Although the collection is modeled by men, fashionistas will love borrowing from this university wardrobe, having fun matching oversized cuts with skirts, a nice pair of colorful sneakers, and feminine accessories.

On our wishlist: we’re falling for the thick gray sweatshirt (91 €), the university t-shirt (38.50 €), the green polo sweatshirt (70 €), the varsity bomber jacket (210 €), and the jogging pants with thick stripes (63 €).

The extra touch: the checkout counter also doubles as a customization stand. Choose your colorful patches to transform the design of your piece and make it unique!

Open Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm.
