Sublime brows, thick and perfectly shaped, that's the real secret of the it-girls, championed by queens like Lily Collins and Matilda Djerf, to brighten the face, open up the eyes, and soften wrinkles. Where to get the best treatments with long-lasting results? Here's the answer with our five favorite Parisian addresses.
Le Soletta’s Brows at Soletta
The place: On a quiet street in the 16th arrondissement, just steps away from the Étoile, you'll find Soletta, a lovely salon with a warm and peaceful ambiance, opened 3 years ago by Samantha Solé after 13 years of experience and prestigious training.
The treatment to try: Soletta’s Brows, a bespoke semi-permanent makeup that combines several techniques for a highly natural result. Expect €350 for 90 minutes.
How it works: Samantha begins by carefully measuring the length and thickness of the eyebrows. She doesn't aim to transform the face but simply to enhance the natural base of the brows for greater harmony. For this, she draws on various techniques (restructuring, microblading, hair-stroke, microshading) to create a beautiful, customized result.
Soletta, 21 rue Pergolèse, Paris 16th. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, appointments at 01 44 26 15 36.
The Browlines Method by Lucie Popa
The place: Tucked away on a peaceful street near Parc Monceau is Fulltimeglam, a chic and bright salon where we are welcomed by Lucia Popa, the master of the place. After years of experience and in-depth brow training around the world, Lucia created her exclusive method, Browlines, which takes into account the muscles, natural asymmetries, brow thickness, and hair growth direction to design brows that match the face.
The treatment to try: Choose between brow restructuring (1 hour, €110), microblading (semi-permanent tattoo, 2 hours, €450), lamination (semi-permanent restructuring and henna tint, 1.5 hours, €180), or a joyful mix of all for a complete transformation.
How it works: After a tailored diagnosis, choose the service. For all procedures, Lucia applies her method, which involves measuring the length and thickness of each brow using specialized tools, drawing guide lines with tinted thread, and then comparing with the current symmetry. Throughout the session, each step is explained in detail. In addition to having beautiful brows that enhance your gaze, you'll leave with lots of useful tips for maintenance!
Fulltimeglam, 22 rue de Chazelles, Paris 17th. Open Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday until 5 PM.
Restructuring at Les Jardins de Nana
The place: The ultra-comfy beauty haven of Johanna Alimi, expert in eye care and founder of Les Jardins de Nana
The treatment to try: Thread hair removal, an ancient Indian technique that defines the eyebrows with gentleness for a natural effect. This is the specialty of Les Jardins de Nana, where you can trust your brows with your eyes closed.
How it works: You settle into a comfortable seat, and the moment of secrets begins: what do you desire? Thinner brows? A refined line? After a short discussion, the practitioner gets to work, skillfully weaving her fingers intertwined with the thread. In just a few minutes, your gaze is transformed! The treatment ends with a soothing facial massage using oil to calm the skin and mind for a moment. Expect €20 / 20 minutes for a thread restructuring.
Les Jardins de Nana, 3 rue Française, Paris 1st, 72 rue Pierre Demours, Paris 17th, 7 rue de la Tour, Paris 16th. Open Monday to Saturday from 10:30 AM to 8 PM.
Brow lift at Les Cils de Marie
The place: The trendiest salon in Paris, managed by Julie, offering eyelash extensions and eye care treatments highly favored by VIPs.
The treatment to try: The Brow Lift, THE protocol that tints, smooths, disciplines, and densifies sparse or damaged brows, Cara Delevingne style.
How it works: The Brow Lift protocol takes 45 minutes (€130) and is broken down into three steps. 1) Choose your custom tint and the lift that suits your face. 2) The expert applies a keratin-based lifting product and neutralizes the hair's pH to better fix the new brow shape before tinting. 3) The shine repair lotion is applied as a nourishing treatment to fix the smoothing of the hair and make the treatment last for a full month.
Les Cils de Marie, 110 rue La Boétie, Paris 8th, 30 rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth, Paris 3rd, 2 rue du Colonel Moll, Paris 17th, 3 rue de l’Hôtel de Ville in Neuilly Sur Seine. Appointments at 06 58 07 77 79.
The Hybrid Tint by Lucille Brunette
The place? After long years of elevating top models in shoots by the greatest photographers, Lucille Brunette opened a charming salon on rue Montorgueil where Paris' crème de la crème rushes for a makeup lesson, facial treatment, or waxing.
The treatment to try: hybrid tinting (€55 / 30 minutes, with waxing €85 / 45 minutes), a new service offered by Lucille, invented by Brow Daddy, the eyebrow god from Los Angeles.
How does it work? With or without prior waxing, the practitioner uses a stencil to draw the shape of the eyebrows of your dreams. She then applies the tint of your choice, ranging from blonde to brown. The big advantage of this new technique is the variety of colors, something henna, which is often used, cannot offer. After the tint is removed, the result is set: it won't budge for at least 6 weeks.
Lucille Brunette, 32 rue Montorgueil, Paris 1st. To book, text SMS to 06 44 06 06 76. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Thursday from 11:30 AM to 8 PM.
