Super-heroes are taking over the Mona Bismarck Center for this « super » exhibition dedicated to famed illustrator Alex Ross.
Because since his first collaboration with Marvel, at only 19 years old, the artist specialized in comics has represented all the masked.
From Superman to Batman including Spiderman and many others, without forgetting the fantastic Wonder Woman, but also bad guys such as the terrible Joker. His trademark? A hyper realistic way of drawing influenced Salvador Dali according to Alex Ross himself.
We like: drawings, sketches, paintings, photos, sculptures… An insight into the comic strips universe.
Really fun, the exhibition begins with an arty battle between heroes of US comic strips and the cult figures of European stirps (Tintin, Astérix, Lucky Luke…).
