Baronne, the ultimate creation by Paris Society

We’ve grown accustomed to saying "Wow!" when discovering the fabulous interiors of Paris Society establishments : Maxim’s, Laurent, Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay… But by placing Baronne in the majestic Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, Laurent de Gourcuff's team has truly outdone itself. This elegant restaurant, nestled in a calm street of the 8th arrondissement, now draws in Parisian high society, eager to be seen at this buzzworthy spot.

An Extraordinary Venue

Once the residence of Baroness Adèle, the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild has hosted iconic fashion and art events—Bal Jaune, Victoria Beckham’s fashion shows, baroque afterparties, and glamorous weddings. Now operated by Paris Society, this 19th-century mansion is more imposing than ever. Picture this: a grand courtyard, palace-worthy staircases, towering ceilings adorned with angelic paintings. The restored decor is as lavish and timeless as something out of Beauty and the Beast. The three main rooms are filled with velvet grandeur, creating a nostalgic but modern vibe where guests can relax in true luxury.

A Refined Menu

In keeping with Paris Society’s style, there's no celebrity chef in the kitchen—just a formula that works every time: chic, well-executed dishes. To start, indulge in salmon carpaccio with lime (€21 or €37 with caviar) or pan-seared foie gras served with a delicate beef consommé and vegetables (€33). Large groups can share “Exceptional Dishes,” like the Challans blue-legged farm chicken with morels and yellow wine, carved tableside (€95), or a whole thyme-roasted sea bass (€150). Other must-tries include Black Angus chuck flap glazed with teriyaki (€40), surf ‘n’ turf with beef filet and lobster (€78), and lobster linguine with creamy bisque (€54). For dessert, opt for the mini donuts to dip in vanilla, caramel, and chocolate sauces (€24) or a delightful caramelized apple tart (€16).

Pro tip: The kitchen serves until 11:30 p.m.—perfect for late-night dining after a show at the nearby Salle Pleyel.

The Intimate Bar

Located in the Baroness’s former dining room, the bar doesn’t require a reservation and is ideal for impressing a date. Sip on their signature EspresSol Martini with Casa Del Sol tequila (€20) or one of five unique creations like the Hanska with Belvedere vodka, Lillet Rosé, cranberry juice, anise infusion, lime, and raspberry liqueur (€19). Pair your drinks with snacks like spicy popcorn (€18), addictive wagyu tacos (€22), Iberian ham with pan con tomate (€38), or fresh Perles de Bretagne oysters (€31). Bonus: enjoy the plush smoking lounge under a beautiful glass ceiling.

Open daily for lunch and dinner. The bar is open from 7pm to 2am with no reservations needed.
