Cyril Lignac Opens a Second Bar des Prés on the Right Bank

Le Bar des Prés japanese restaurant by Cyril Lignac

Certainly, Cyril Lignac stands out as the most avant-garde chef in Paris's gastronomic and social scene. Beyond his media reputation, Mr. #GourmandCroquant succeeds in delighting and anticipating the desires of Parisians with strong, yet elegantly simple concepts. Proof of this is his Bar des Prés, a chic hotspot in the 6th arrondissement, which has now opened a second location in the Golden Triangle. Already, the most sophisticated personalities from the French media and nearby luxury brands are flocking there.

A FIRST ADDRESS ON THE RIGHT BANK

Just steps away from Avenue Montaigne, the culinary dandy has established a glamorous bar with clear inspirations from London and New York. Starting with the elegant decor, featuring round booths, graphic carpets, marble, and lacquered wood. It's a delight. The bar area is perfect for flirting.

The chef's concept is as obvious as it is trendy: superb cocktails and raw fish served as couture sushi and gourmet small plates, all prepared live at the bar by a top-notch team while signature drinks like the Tokyo Garden, a brilliant mix of gin, shiso, and lychee (€21), or the Zen Garden non-alcoholic drink: green tea, apple, aloe vera, and pandan (€13), are shaken.
