During 60 years of his career, Yousuf Karsh photographed the leading figureheads of the 20th century. A singular destiny for someone who learned the art of photography with his uncle in Canada, after having fled from the Armenian genocide at the beginning of the 20s.
A terrific selection of this best photos featuring politicians, portraits of artists notably Andy Warhol, Brigitte Bardot, Alfred Hitchcock and personalities such as Albert Einstein and Mohamed Ali to be discovered at the Centre Mona Bismarck.
We like: 70 ultra slick photos, showcasing the talent and the technical mastering of this great photographer.
