This former cabaret was reopened by my friend Franck Mayot (he was the one to relaunch Raspoutine ).
Here one finds a marvelous « brasserie » ambiance, so Parisian and mundane, as we like it, where inside-track locals like to meet up with all their friends.
This street is my street. I lived there for a long time. I just love the buzzing wildly Parisian atmosphere. Many things have taken place here. It was the area where pretty easy women, known as cocottes, used to pick up gents—in other words, the brothels of the Belle Epoque.
