When all the big name Parisian party planners group up to create a festive new address, it’s immediately the trendy-hipster hotspot, with, as leaders: Filipe Alves (L’Atelier des Artistes, Terrassa, as well as the Bataclan for electro nights), Boris Ponthieu (at the Baron for 11 years), Vincent Martinez (Les Ambassadeurs) and David Lopes (La bande La plage, le Très Honoré).
Their credo: you eat by the gram, you drink by the centiliter, and dance by the kilometer…. Otherwise said, they advocate coolness and good prices.
Imagine a flat where everyone is doing their own thing. The aperatif-obsessed share liters of bespoke cocktails amongst their friends and smoke cigs on the cute terrace.
We drink our faves, like the potion “Bobo is not Dead” (strawberries + vodka + prosecco) or a glass of rose and play tea party in the sublime scandi-style dining room.
And when you’ve made a good dent in your night out, head downstairs for diabolic sounds from the biggest names at Terrassa and from the Bataclan and flirt and chat in this ultra chic mini club….
Special mention for the eats: rare tuna with barbecue sauce (8€), sea bream carpaccio (8€), pasta baked with truffled gouda (6€), garden salad (11€), green bean tempura (6€), a super toasted sandwich (9€) and fab fries (5€). To finish it off, try the Paris-Brest or tarte au citron.
We like: a bottle of champers is offered to all Parisiens on Wednesdays.
Open everyday from 9am to 2am except Saturday, when it opens at 7pm. Closed Sunday.
Also a discover Monsieur Mouche, the trendy rooftop everyone is talking about.
